Manchester United and Liverpool tracking Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier

Manchester United and Liverpool are tracking Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier, according to the football transfer rumours in French Media.

Serge Aurier has joined Paris Saint-Germain from Toulouse for a fee in the region of 10 million euros in July 2015. The 24 year-old has a valid contract with Paris Saint-Germain until the June 2019.

Since his arrival from Toulouse, Serge Aurier has scored five goals and provided 15 assists in 76 games for Paris Saint-Germain, including five assists in 27 games in all competition this season.

Serge Aurier has also represented Ivory Coast, winning 39 caps and scoring one goal.

The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best right-backs in Ligue 1.

The Ivory Coast international has been in outstanding form for Paris Saint-Germain this season.

Serge Aurier has been long term target of José Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp as the managers look to bolster their defensive options for the next season.

Manchester United and Liverpool aren’t the only ones who are reportedly interested in the Ivory Coast international. Manchester City and Barcelona are also thought to be tracking him.

Euro Football Rumours understood that Paris Saint-Germain’s Director Patrick Kluivert has offered new three-year extension contranct to the Ivory Coast international.

How strong that interest is and whether Manchester United and Liverpool will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
