José Mourinho wants to sign a new goalkeeper and Donnarumma is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
The 21-year-old has been long term target of José Mourinho as the manager look to bolster his goalkeeping options for the next season.
The Serie A goalkeeper is highly talented and he has a big future ahead of himself. Donnarumma has the quality and the experience to make an immediate impact.
According to the report, “Tottenham are ‘serious’ about battling Paris Saint-Germain to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the near future, according to a report. Todofichajes claims that Spurs eye the 21-year-old as the long-term replacement for club stalwart Hugo Lloris. The Frenchman is one of Tottenham’s longest-serving players after joining the club in 2012. However, the 33-year-old’s contract runs out in two years time and it is unclear if he will renew. According to the Spanish outlet, though, the north London club already have their eye on a top-class replacement. Despite still only 21, Donnarumma has played in Milan’s first team for over four seasons. As such, he is one of the most highly-rated goalkeepers in European football. The report claims that Spurs are ‘serious’ over signing the stopper but they will face a battle to do so, both from PSG and Milan themselves.”

The Italian Giants would be wise to keep the Italy international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.

Signing the 21-year-old would be a masterstroke from Mourinho.
