His record for Portugal is also impressive. Bruno Alves has scored 11 goals in 96 matches for Portugal at senior level.

Parma are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.

Alves is a traditional defender. He is solid while defending and holds his position perfectly.

According to the Football Italia, “Reports in Italy suggest Bruno Alves has terminated his Rangers contract, so is now free to sign for Parma. The centre-back left Cagliari to join the Scottish Premiership side last summer, but failed to impress in Glasgow. It has been rumoured in recent weeks that the Ducali are keen to bring him back to Serie A, and Sky Italia is now reporting that his contract at Ibrox has been terminated. Alves is therefore free to sign for Parma, with the transfer expected to be confirmed in the coming days.”
