Galatasaray preparing move for Napoli left-back

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media (Calcio Napoli 24), Galatasaray are preparing move for Napoli left-back Ivan Strinic.

The Croatia international has joined Napoli from Dnipro on a free transfer in January 2015. The 29-year-old has a valid contract with Napoli until June 2019.

Strinic has played 39 times for Napoli since signing from Dnipro, creating four assists in that time.

The 29-year-old is considered to be one of the best left-backs in Croatia.

Ivan Strinic has represented Croatia at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 22 caps and scoring one goal, before making his senior international debut in May 2010. As a member of Croatia national football team, Ivan Strinic has won 39 caps.

Igor Tudor wants to sign a new left-back this summer and Ivan Strinic is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

Ivan Strinic has been long term target of Igor Tudor as the manager look to bolster his defensive options for the next season.

Galatasaray are in the market for just a handful of statement signings this summer who can improve the first-team.

The left-back can also play as a full-back, offering Igor Tudor a different option should he change his formation at Galatasaray.

According to the report in Italian Media, Galatasaray are prepared to offer in the region of 3 million euros for Napoli full-back.

Ivan Strinic would reportedly be interested in a move this summer, but if Galatasaray do want him, they will have to beat those other interested clubs to his signature.
