Everton enter talks with Arsenal for Theo Walcott
Everton are discussing a move to sign Theo Walcott in the coming window.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Everton enter talks with Arsenal for Theo Walcott.
The England international was signed by Arsenal in January 2006 from Southampton for a fee of 10.5 million euros. The 28-year-old has a contract until 2019 with the club.
Theo Walcott has played 393 times for Arsenal since signing from Southampton, scoring 107 goals and creating 75 assists in that time.
His record for England is also impressive. Theo Walcott has scored 8 goals in 47 matches for England at senior level.
Theo Walcott is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Arsenal this winter and the list of suitors in the England international continues to grow.
Sam Allardyce wants to sign a new forward this winter and Theo Walcott is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
Theo Walcott has been long term target of Sam Allardyce as the manager look to bolster his attacking options for the second part of the season.
Everton will be desperate to make an impact in winter transfer window.
The 28-year-old would be a very good addition for Everton and they can afford him as well.

According to the report, Southampton and West Ham have been heavily linked with Walcott but now Everton look most likely to sign him and bring him to the North-West. Walcott is yet to start in the Premier League this season, but it’s claimed Sam Allardyce believes the forward is exactly the player they need to add more goals to their frontline. Allardyce picked Walcott in the only squad of his short-lived reign as England manager, bringing him on as his second substitute in September 2016’s 1-0 win over Slovakia. The Everton manager sees Walcott as a solution to the lack of pace he inherited in his side.
It will be interesting to see what happens when Everton come calling for Theo Walcott in January.
