According to The Sun, “It is understood the Blues are in ‘pole position’ to land the winger and could make a move in January. According to the Express, Maurizio Sarri will have to go up against former club Napoli to lure the Serie A star to the Premier League. But the Chelsea boss is confident his club have the financial means to complete a deal. Chiesa, 20, was the subject of a £50million bid from Juventus over the summer while the player confirmed other unnamed clubs bid up to £63million for his services. Juve are expected to make another move once the transfer window reopens in January with Manchester United also thought to be keen. So the Stamford Bridge club know it will take a hefty fee to lure the ace to England.”
