The defensive department of the Wolverhampton squad needs quality additions this summer.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Wolverhampton have made bid for Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani.
The 25-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
Juventus spent 5 million euros
to sign the Italy international from Empoli in the winter of 2015. The 25-year-old has four years left on his current contract which expires in 2024.

The 25-year-old has his prime years ahead of him.
The Juventus centre-back has also represented the Italy at various youth levels before going on to secure 7 senior caps for his country thus far.
The Italy international is believed to be available for transfer, with Nuno Espírito Santo now keen to bring him to Wolverhampton.
Santo wants to sign a new centre-back and Daniele Rugani is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. The report claims that Wolverhampton manager has extensively scouted Rugani and is considering a move for the centre-back.
Wolves are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.
There is no doubt that Daniele Rugani will take Wolverhampton’s defense to a different level.
According to the report, “Wolves have launched a bid for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. The Daily Star says Wolves have made a bid for Juventus ace Daniel Rugani, taking the first steps over a proposed move. It comes amid interest from Arsenal, who are desperate to bolster their backline. With the ongoing speculation over David Luiz’s future and Mikel Arteta’s plans to axe Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi, the defence looks feeble at the Emirates. Rugani has been a long-term target for the Gunners but have found themselves priced out in recent years. However, his value has depreciated after a shoddy season as well as the ongoing coronavirus crisis. After the signing of Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral, Rugani has been relegated to fifth-choice centre-back. TuttoJuve says Wolves have made the first move for the Italy international. They report that Nuno Espirito Santo has opened the bidding at €20m (£18m).”
