Olmo has played 124 times for Dinamo Zagreb since signing from Barcelona, scoring 34 goals and creating 28 assists in that time.

The 21-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Spain. As a member of Spain national football team Olmo won one cap and he scored one goal.

His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Wolverhampton.

By the club’s own admission, Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Olmo is Wolverhampton’s number one transfer target.

Nuno Espírito Santo is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.

Dani Olmo would provide a good variety to Wolverhampton Wanderers’s midfield.

According to the report, “Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly made a £21.3m offer for Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Dani Olmo. With just 18 months remaining on his contract, Olmo is naturally attracting interest from a number of top European clubs during the January transfer window. While Barcelona are said to have pulled out of the race for their former youth player, Chelsea, Manchester United and AC Milan are allegedly monitoring the situation. However, according to Sportske Novosi, Wolves have made a formal approach for the playmaker, indicating that they are willing to pay £21.3m. As he looks to earn a spot in Spain’s squad at Euro 2020, Olmo has acknowledged that he is open to leaving the Croatian giants. Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has not been shy in stating that he wants to make a number of new signings before the end of the month.”

It would take a huge offer from Wolverhampton to prise the 21-year-old midfielder from Dinamo.

Undoubtedly he would be a fantastic recruit for Wolverhampton.

Wolverhampton fans would certainly love to see him arrive at the club.

Whether he will join Wolverhampton or not remains to be seen.
