According to the report in Italian Media, West Ham has gotten off to one of their worst starts to any Premier League season. In six matches, they have conceded 13 goals. That is the main reason why Slaven Bilic is desperately in need of defensive additions in January. West Ham have been impressed by Vicari and it has now been suggested that they are ready to firm up their interest with a bid.
How strong that interest is and whether West Ham will make a winter move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
