Wesley Hoedt joins Southampton

The Netherlands international has joined Lazio in July 2015. Wesley Hoedt made 61 appearances across all competitions for Lazio, scoring 4 goals and supplying one assist in return.
The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best defenders in Netherlands.
Wesley Hoedt has represented Netherlands at Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 10 caps, before making his senior international debut in March 2017. As a member of Netherlands national football team, Hoedt has won 4 caps.
On Tuesday, Lazio confirmed the sale of Wesley Hoedt to Southampton for a fee reported to be around 18 million euros.
