Swansea City appear to have a genuine interest in signing Hull City midfielder Sam Clucas this summer.
According to the football transfer rumours in British Media (The Sun), Swansea have reached an agreement with Hull midfielder Sam Clucas.
The England international has joined Hull City from Chesterfield for a fee in the region of 1.9 million euros in July 2015. The 26-year-old has a valid contract with Hull City until June 2019.
Since his arrival from Chesterfield, Clucas has scored 9 goals and provided 10 assists in 96 games for Hull City.
On Monday, Hull City confirmed the sale of Sam Clucas to Swansea City for a fee reported to be around 17.5 million euros.
Sam Clucas is high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Hull City last term.
Paul Clement wants to sign a new midfielder this summer and Sam Clucas is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a long term admirer of Clucas and believes he can get the most out of the England international.
