Valencia preparing loan move for Inter defender Jeison Murillo

Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo has emerged as a surprise target for Valencia in the summer transfer window.

Spanish source (Marca) report that Valencia are preparing loan move for Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo.

The Colombia international has joined Inter Milan from Granada for a fee in the region of 8 million euros in July 2015. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Inter Milan until June 2020.

Murillo has played 69 times for Inter Milan since signing from Granada, scoring three goals and creating two assists in that time.

Jeison Murillo has represented Colombia at Under-17 and Under-20 level, winning 11 caps and scoring one goal, before making his senior international debut in October 2014. As a member of Colombia national football team, Jeison Murillo has won 25 caps and has scored one goal.

The 25-year-old is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Inter Milan this summer and the list of suitors in the Colombia international continues to grow.

According to the report in Spanish Media, Valencia are locked in negotiations with Inter representatives for central defender Jeison Murillo but must improve their recent bid for the Colombian. The both clubs are close to a loan deal.
