Matias Vecino set to undergo Inter medical ahead of move from Fiorentina

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media (La Gazzetta dello Sport), Matias Vecino is set to undergo Inter medical ahead of move from Fiorentina.

The Uruguay international was signed by Fiorentina in January 2013 from Nacional for a fee of 2.3 million euros. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Fiorentina until June 2021.

Matias Vecino made 85 appearances across all competitions for Fiorentina, scoring 6 goals and supplying 8 assists in return.

The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Uruguay.

Matias Vecino has represented Uruguay at Under-20 level, winning 14 caps and scoring 4 goals, before making his senior international debut in March 2016. As a member of Uruguay national football team, Vecino has won 13 caps and has scored one goal.
