Udinese eyeing move for Watford striker Stefano Okaka

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media, Udinese are eyeing move for Watford striker Stefano Okaka.

Stefano Okaka has joined Watford from RSC Anderlecht for a fee in the region of 6 million euros in August 2016. The 27 year-old has a valid contract with Watford until June 2021.

Since his arrival from RSC Anderlecht, Stefano Okaka has scored three goals in 16 games for Watford in all competitions this season.

The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Italy.

Stefano Okaka has represented Italy at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 12 caps and scoring four goals, before making his senior international debut in November 2014. As a member of Italy national football team, Okaka has won only four caps and has scored one goal.

The Italy international is a player who has impressed many European clubs from the period when he has played for RSC Anderlecht, and it is understood that Udinese manager Luigi Delneri would prefer playing him as a forward.

Euro Football Rumours understood that Luigi Delneri is a big fan of the Italy international and sees him as a perfect replacement for Duvan Zapata.

How strong that interest is and whether Udinese will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
