Sampdoria looking to loan Milan midfielder Yacine Adli
The midfield department of the Sampdoria squad needs quality additions this winter.
According to multiple reports emanating from Italy, Sampdoria are looking to loan Milan midfielder Yacine Adli.
The France international joined AC Milan from Bordeaux for a fee in the region of 8.5 million euros in August 2021. His contract expires in the summer of 2026.
The midfielder has featured in only four matches for AC Milan this term in all competitions.
He has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in France. Yacine Adli has represented France at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level, winning 46 caps and scoring 15 goals.
The France international is believed to be available for loan, with Dejan Stankovic now keen to bring him to Sampdoria.
Adli has been identified as one of the key targets to improve the midfield department. The France international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfielder Stankovic wants to target in the winter transfer window.
Sampdoria are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
The former Bordeaux man will add a new dimension to Sampdoria’s midfield.
According to the report, “AC Milan midfielder Yacine Adli is set to leave in January on-loan. Adli is a January target for Sampdoria. Considering Sampdoria have been one of the worst sides in Serie A this season, sitting in 19th place with six points, it is expected that Adli would be get regular football should he make the move, says Sportmediaset.”

It is claimed that Milan are open to letting Adli go on loan.
