AC Milan submit bid for Yacine Adli

AC Milan are reportedly holding intense negotiations with Bordeaux in order to sign Yacine Adli.

According to the football transfer rumours in French media, Milan are set to sign Bordeaux midfielder Yacine Adli.

The 21-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

Bordeaux spent 5.5 million euros to sign the France international from Paris Saint-Germain in the winter of 2019. The 21-year-old has two years left on his current contract which expires in 2023.

The midfielder registered two goals and five assists in 36 appearances across all competitions last season.

The 21-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in France.

Adli has represented France at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level, winning 46 caps and scoring 15 goals.

His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including AC Milan.

The Italian giants have built a reputation for recruiting young talent from within Europe, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.

Yacine Adli is a long-term target of Milan and could be a decent addition for Stefano Pioli’s side.

AC Milan are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.

The Ligue 1 player is highly talented and he has a big future ahead of himself.

According to the report, “AC Milan have launched a bid for Bordeaux midfielder Yacine Adli. L’Equipe says Milan have made a formal offer to Bordeaux for Adli worth €10m. He went through the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy. Adli is a France U20 international and has a deal with Bordeaux to 2023. Should he move to Milan, Adli would become the third Frenchman to join Milan this summer, after Mike Maignan and Fode Ballo-Toure from Monaco.”

Bordeaux are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the midfielder, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

If the Milan can tie up a cheap deal for the player, it may not be a bad signing by any means.

Good signing for AC Milan?

If Yacine Adli is available for the right price, then he could be a clever acquisition for Milan.

Given Adli’s talent and potential, he would be a very good signing for Milan in the long run.

It will be interesting to see if Milan are willing to pay the asking price for Adli.
