PSV Eindhoven in advanced talks to bring Feyenoord winger Steven Berghuis
PSV Eindhoven appear to have a genuine interest in signing Feyenoord winger Steven Berghuis this summer.
The latest reports in Netherlands suggest that PSV Eindhoven are set to sign Steven Berghuis.
The Netherlands international was signed by Feyenoord in July 2017 from Watford for a fee of 6.5 million euros. The 27-year-old has a contract until 2021 with the club.
In total, Berghuis has scored 44 goals and supplied 37 assists from 120 Feyenoord matches.
As a member of Netherlands national football team, Steven Berghuis won 14 caps.
The Netherlands international is believed to be available for transfer, with Mark van Bommel now keen to bring him to PSV Eindhoven. Van Bommel is a long term admirer of Berghuis and he can get the most out of the Netherlands international.
According to Football Oranje, “PSV are set to lose both Steven Bergwijn and Hirving Lozano this summer and will need to add a new winger to their squad. Berghuis is their top target and AD are reporting that contact has now been made between PSV and the attacker. They asked Mark van Bommel about the interest but he refused to comment on the rumours. Feyenoord need to raise funds to sign new players this summer and would be willing to listen to offers for the 27-year-old. They reportedly want €10 million to part ways with the Dutch international.”

Undoubtedly Berghuis would be a fantastic recruit for PSV Eindhoven.
PSV fans would certainly love to see him arrive at the club this summer.
How strong that interest is and whether PSV will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
