PSG submit bid for Gianluigi Buffon
It’s no secret that Paris-Saint-Germain are interested in Juventus’s goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. But who isn’t?
According to a report from Calciomercato, Paris-Saint-Germain have submitted bid for Italy international goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
The Italy international was signed by Juventus in July 2001 from Parma for a fee of 52.88 million euros.
Since his arrival from Parma, Buffon has conceded 518 goals and provided 310 clean sheets in 655 games for Juventus.
As a member of Italy national football team, Buffon won 176 caps.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Paris-Saint-Germain.
Thomas Tuchel wants to sign a new goalkeeper and Gianluigi Buffon is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a long term admirer of Gianluigi Buffon and believes he can get the most out of the Italy international.
According to Calciomercato (via Le Parisien), “Paris-Saint-Germain are interested in signing Gigi Buffon and according to Le Parisien, the Ligue 1 giants have already submitted a contract offer to the legendary goalkeeper who announced his Juventus exit today. The French paper claims Psg have offered Buffon a two-year deal. A move to Paris would allow Buffon to have a new chance to win the Champions League while playing for one of the best clubs in Europe.”
Gianluigi Buffon would reportedly be interested in a move this summer, but if Paris-Saint-Germain do want him, they will have to beat those other interested clubs to his signature.
