Real Madrid and PSG front runners for Monaco star Kylian Mbappé

According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish Media (Fichajes), Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are front runners for AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappé.

The France international has joined AS Monaco from INF Clairefontaine in 2013. The 18-year-old has a valid contract with AS Monaco until June 2019.

Mbappé has played 58 times for AS Monaco, scoring 27 goals and creating 16 assists. The France international has been in outstanding form for AS Monaco last season.

Kylian Mbappé has represented France at Under-17 and Under-19 level, winning 13 caps and scoring seven goals, before making his senior international debut in March 2017. As a member of France national football team, Kylian Mbappé has won four caps.

The striker’s contract at AS Monaco is about to expire in 24 months and a number of clubs are said to be monitoring his situation, with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal showing the most concrete interest in an attempt to lure the player to their team.

The France international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking player Zidane wants to target in the summer transfer window.

Mbappé has been long term target of Zinedine Zidane and Unai Emery as the managers look to bolster their attacking options for the next season.

Emery wants to continue to strengthening his squad so they’re able to compete both domestically and in the Champions League next season. PSG are desperate to make an impact in this summer transfer window.

Zidane will reportedly be handed a huge transfer kitty this summer and the AS Monaco striker is thought to be among the manager’s priorities.

The France international will definitely be a good addition to the Real Madrid side, which will be competing in the Champions League next season.

AS Monaco are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the striker, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

Real Madrid, PSG and now Arsenal have reportedly registered an interest in his services and have enquired over his availability, but according to the report in Spanish Media, Real Madrid will postpone signing of Mbappé until 2018. It’s now down to the manager and the board to decide his future, but it’s looking most likely that the player will remain at Monaco next season.
