According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Newcastle are tracking Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo.
The Italy international joined Roma from Internazionale for a fee in the region of 4.5 million euros in July 2018. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
The 19-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Italy.
Nicolo Zaniolo has represented Italy at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 24 caps and scoring 6 goals.
The Italy international has impressed in Serie A this season and is starting to attract the interest of Premier League clubs.
The report claims that Newcastle manager has extensively scouted Nicolo Zaniolo and is considering a move for the midfielder. Rafael Benítez is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
