Newcastle linked with a move for Brighton star Leandro Trossard

As per British media, Newcastle United are linked with a move for Brighton and Hove Albion winger Leandro Trossard.

The 28-year-old has been with Brighton and Hove Albion since 2019, having signed for the club from Genk for 15.6 million euros. His current deal expires in 2023 (Brighton have option for one more year).

The winger banged in seven goals and provided three assists in 14 matches for Brighton this season across all fronts showcasing just how influential he has been in the final third.

He is considered to be one of the best wingers in Belgium. As a member of Belgium national football team, Trossard won 24 caps and he scored 5 goals.

Leandro Trossard will be high in demand this winter, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Brighton and Hove Albion this term.

Adding a winger remains Newcastle’s top priority this winter and Eddie Howe will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.
