The report claims that Manchester United manager has extensively scouted Bellingham and is considering a move for the midfielder.

Manchester United are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.

Jude Bellingham can play multiple positions in midfield and attack.

According to the report, ” The Birmingham striker has shone in the Championship and now has a host of clubs after him. Birmingham rejected United’s £20million offer. According to ESPN, the bid was rebuffed due to the structure of the deal, which consists of £8.5m upfront for the Championship outfit, with the rest coming through a number of add-ons. A total of £5m would be payable after 50 appearances as well as £2m for the youngster’s first goal. The final add-on would depend on whether the Red Devils qualify for the Champions League or not. Qualification would mean an added £4.5m. However, Birmingham reportedly want more than the proposed upfront fee for their young star and a move is now going to have to wait until the summer.”

Birmingham City would be wise to keep the England international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.

Undoubtedly he would be a fantastic recruit for Man United.

It will be interesting to see whether Manchester United will make their move during the summer transfer window.
