Manchester United will look to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ousmane Dembele

According to the football transfer rumours in German Media, Manchester United will look to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ousmane Dembele.

Ousmane Dembele has joined Borussia Dortmund from Stade Rennais for a fee in the region of 15 million euros in July 2016.  The 19 year-old has a valid contract with Borussia Dortmund until June 2021.

Since his arrival from Stade Rennais, Ousmane Dembele has scored eight goals and provided 17 assists in 41 games for Borussia Dortmund in all competitions this season.

The 19-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in France.

Ousmane Dembele has represented France at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 20 caps and scoring four goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2016. As a member of France national football team, Dembele has won five caps.

The France international can be deployed as a playmaker, winger or attacking midfielder; possessing the stamina to play in a box to box midfield role.

Ousmane Dembele is a player who has impressed many European clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Manchester United manager José Mourinho would prefer playing him as a attacking midfielder.

Euro Football Rumours understood that Manchester United are preparing an offer in the region of 58.5 million euros for the France international services.

How strong that interest is and whether Manchester United will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
