The report details that Ole Gunnar Solskjær feels his midfield currently lacks some bite and that he could strengthen this winter. Solskjær is a long term admirer of Rice and believes he can get the most out of the England international.

A report in the Daily Express claims that United are looking at Rice to replace Nemanja Matic, who has been tipped to follow Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan in a €25m January deal.”
