According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish media, Manchester United are linked with Nelson Semedo.
Barcelona spent 35.7 million euros to sign the Portugal international from Benfica in the summer of 2017. The 26-year-old has two and a half years left on his current contract which expires in 2022.
Semedo made 101 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona, scoring one goal and supplying 8 assists in return.
He’s incredibly experienced for a 26-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
As a member of Portugal national football team, Semedo won 14 caps.

It is said that all parties are open to the sale with the Blaugrana in need of player sales to balance the books while Mendes is said to be keen on a move for him to net more commission. Moussa Wague is also a young player at the club but the Catalan giants may instead look to Semedo’s fellow countryman Ricardo Pereira from Leicester. Of Semedo’s possible destinations, Manchester United are said to be in the best position to land him due to their relationship with Mendes.”
