According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Manchester United are linked with a move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.
Sevilla spent 20 million euros to sign the Morocco international from Leganés in the winter of 2020. The 24-year-old has four years left on his current contract which expires in 2025.
This season, En-Nesyri has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 9 appearances for Sevilla.
The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Morocco. His record for Morocco is also impressive. En-Nesyri has scored 11 goals in 39 matches for Morocco at senior level.
Ralf Rangnick wants to sign a new striker and En-Nesyri is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He will reportedly be handed a huge transfer kitty next summer and the Sevilla striker is thought to be among the manager’s priorities.
The former Leganés man is a traditional number nine, having all types of finishes in his locker. His finishing abilities when in and around the box will come as a massive asset to Rangnick’s side.
According to the report, “One player under consideration by Man Utd to follow in their footsteps is Sevilla striker En-Nesyri. The Morocco international has been in Seville since January 2020. Last season, he broke the 20-goal barrier for the first time in his career with 24 strikes across all competitions. His form prompted links with a Premier League transfer. West Ham were mentioned as a potential destination given their obvious need for a new striker to compete with main man Michail Antonio. But En-Nesyri was not interested in a move to the Premier League, his agent confirmed in the summer. Still, links have persisted beyond the closure of the last transfer window. Arsenal have also been suggested as suitors. Now, though, Man Utd are also in the race to sign the 24-year-old. According to Super Deporte, he is “on the agenda” for the Red Devils, who are “serious” about signing him. A transfer would likely have to wait until the end of the season, but Sevilla are bracing themselves. They have reportedly already set their asking price at €42m.”

It would take a huge offer from United to prise the 24-year-old striker from Sevilla.
The Spanish club would be wise to keep the Morocco international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.
Youssef En-Nesyri ideal fit for Manchester United?
He would be a fantastic recruit for Manchester United.
Youssef En-Nesyri has all the skillset required to be a success story at Manchester United. Therefore, it makes sense for Rangnick to step up his attempts to bring the Morocco striker to Premier League side.
It will be interesting to see if United are willing to pay the asking price for En-Nesyri.
