The reports in Spain suggested that Manchester United are linked with a move for Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.

Carlos Soler made 58 appearances across all competitions for Valencia, scoring four goals and supplying six assists in return.

The 21-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Spain.

Carlos Soler has represented Spain at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 11 caps and scoring one goal.

The Spain international has impressed in La Liga this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.

According to Football Espana (via Super Deporte), “Manchester United have shortlisted highly-rated Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler as they look to overhaul their midfield this summer, say reports. The highly-rated 21-year-old signed a new deal with Los Che in May last year until June 2021 with a buyout clause which was previously reported by Super Deporte as standing at €80m.”

Valencia would be wise to keep the Spain international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.

Carlos Soler is also being watched by Manchester City.
