Manchester United linked with Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney
Manchester United are linked with Celtic’s left-back Kieran Tierney, according to the football transfer rumours in British Media.
Tierney has scored one goal and provided 15 assists in 54 games for Celtic, including seven assists in 19 games in all competition this season. Tierney has a valid contract with Celtic until June 2021.
The 19-year-old is considered to be one of the brightest prospects in the Scottish Premiership. Tierney was only a ball boy on the fantastic night that mighty Barcelona succumbed in Glasgow in 2012.
The Scottish international has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City this month, but according to the British Media, Manchester United are looking to lure the defender to the Premier League in the January transfer window.
It’s unlikely that the Scottish Champions would be open to selling Kieran Tierney in the upcoming transfer window, but Manchester United are a very attractive proposition for some of Europe’s young talent.
