The Austria international joined Watford from Stoke City on a free transfer in July 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2024.

Bachmann has conceded 32 goals in 13 games in all competitions last season. As a member of Austria national football team, he won 13 caps.

Manchester United are looking to sign a goalkeeper and have identified the 27-year-old as potential transfer target.
