Samir Handanovic has joined Inter Milan from Udinese for a fee in the region of 15 million euros in 2012. The 32 year-old has a valid contract with Inter Milan until June 2019.
Since his arrival from Udinese, Samir Handanovic has conceded 221 goals and provided 69 clean sheets in 194 games for Inter Milan, including conceded 34 goals and ten clean sheets in 31 games this season in all competitions.
The 32-year-old is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in Italy.
Samir Handanovic has represented Slovenia at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 13 caps, before making his senior international debut in November 2004. As a member of Slovenia national football team, he won 81 caps.
The Slovenia international is a goalkeeper who has impressed many European Clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola would prefer playing him as a replacement of Claudio Bravo.
How strong that interest is and whether Manchester City will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
