Leeds willing to buy Ross Barkley

The Chelsea midfielder has been identified as one of the club’s potential targets as Marcelo Bielsa looks to add more reinforcements in the midfield unit.

According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Leeds United are willing to buy Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley.

The 27-year-old has been subject to interest from various Premier League clubs.

Chelsea spent 16.8 million euros to sign the England international from Everton in the winter of 2018. The 27-year-old has two years left on his current contract which expires in 2023.

The midfielder has featured in only 8 matches this term in all competitions.

Leeds are struggling with injuries at the moment and Sunday’s loss to Tottenham sees them in 17th on the table. And the Yorkshire club are looking to sign Barkley in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail. The Englishman was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 3-0 convincing win over Leicester.”
