The 25-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

Cagliari spent 17 million euros to sign the Uruguay international from Boca Juniors in the summer of 2019. The 25-year-old has three years left on his current contract which expires in 2024.

The Whites have been consistently linked to Rodrigo De Paul from Udinese, but could be about to switch their attention to another midfielder. Nandez has a release clause. According to Calciomercato, Roma are also interested in Nandez, but may have turned their attention elsewhere. Leeds could secure the 25-year-old for €36 million.”
