Lazio midfielder Ravel Morrison in advanced negotiations with QPR
Lazio midfielder Ravel Morrison has emerged as a surprise target for Queens Park Rangers in the final day of January transfer window.
Queens Park Rangers are looking set to land Ravel Morrison after Italian Media revealed that they are in advanced negotiations with Lazio ahead of a potential move today.
Ravel Morrison has joined Lazio from West Ham United on a free transfer in 2015. The 23 year-old has a valid contract with Lazio until June 2019.
Since his arrival from West Ham United, Morrison has played in only eight games for Lazio.
The England international has not kicked the ball for Lazio since Simone Inzaghi took over the reigns.
Morrison has also represented England at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-21 level, winning nine caps across all age groups and scoring three goals.
The England international has been a target of Ian Holloway as the manager looks to bolster his midfield options for the second part of the season.
Euro Football Rumours were informed that Queens Park Rangers are preparing the offer loan deal with option to buy in the summer.
