Lazio eyeing move for Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren
There has been numerous defenders linked with Lazio in past few months.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Lazio are eyeing move for Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren.
The 30-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
Liverpool spent 25.3 million euros to sign the Croatia international from Southampton in the summer of 2014. The 30-year-old has a valid contract with Liverpool until June 2021.
Lovren made 184 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool, scoring 8 goals and supplying 5 assists in return.
The 30-year-old is considered to be one of the best defenders in Croatia.
His record for Croatia is also impressive. Lovren has scored 3 goals in 57 matches for Croatia at senior level.
Dejan Lovren is out of the picture at Liverpool, which has opened the door for a potential exit.
The Lazio manager is in the market for a new defender. The Croatia international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of defensive player Simone Inzaghi wants to target in the summer transfer window.

Lazio were unwilling to meet Lovren’s €20m price tag – but Liverpool’s asking price has now dropped, meaning their interest could be renewed.”
