Lazio enter talks with Barcelona for Ivan Rakitic
There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Ivan Rakitic in the last period.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Lazio have entered talks with Barcelona for Ivan Rakitic.
The 32-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Croatia international was signed by Barcelona in July 2014 from Sevilla for a fee of 18 million euros. The 32-year-old has a contract until 2021 with the club.
The midfielder has provided four assists in 31 matches for Barcelona this term on all fronts.

According to the report, “Lazio have made a move for Barcelona veteran Ivan Rakitic. The Croatia international has been encouraged to move on this summer by Barca management, though he is reluctant to be forced into any move. Il Tempo says Lazio are in contact and have tabled Rakitic a bumper three-year contract. Barca want €20m to sell, though are willing to compromise to clear the midfielder off their books. For his part, Rakitic would prefer to remain in Spain and favours a return to former club Sevilla as a preference.”
