The Spain international joined Valencia in 2006. His contract expires in the summer of 2020.
Gaya has scored four goals in 121 games for Valencia since joining the club.
The 22-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Spain.
Jose Luis Gaya has represented Spain at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 28 caps and scoring two goals.
The Spain international has impressed in La Liga this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.
