Juventus linked with a move for Romelu Lukaku
When it comes to the transfer market, Juventus are simply one of the best in the business.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Juventus are linked with a move for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgium international was signed by Manchester United in July 2017 from Everton for a fee of 84.7 million euros. The 25-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.
Lukaku made 73 appearances across all competitions for Manchester United, scoring 33 goals and supplying 11 assists in return.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Belgium.
His record for Belgium is also impressive. Lukaku has scored 45 goals in 79 matches for Belgium at senior level.
Massimiliano Allegri wants to sign a new striker and Romelu Lukaku is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
Allegri is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.
With questions being raised concerning Mario Mandzukic’s future at the club, the Juventus manager could well look to Lukaku as an ideal replacement.
According to The Sun, “Juventus are reportedly keeping tabs on Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku. The £75million Belgian has not taken Old Trafford by storm since arriving from Everton last year. And Calciomercato are reporting that Juve believe the 25-year-old could be a long-term replacement for Mario Mandzukic. Lukaku missed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first game in charge after taking compassionate leave. The hitman is unlikely to return before the end of the month and could miss United’s busy festive schedule.”

Manchester United would be wise to keep the Belgium international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.
Signing the 25-year-old in the winter transfer window would be a masterstroke from Allegri.
Will Romelu Lukaku be a Juventus player soon? Only time will tell.
