Juventus and Borussia Dortmund tracking Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are tracking Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

Wojciech Szczesny has joined Arsenal from Legia Warsaw for a fee in the region of 50,000 euros in January 2006. The 26 year-old has a valid contract with Arsenal until June 2018. Since 29th of July 2016 Szczesny was loaned to Italian club AS Roma until the end of this season.

Since his arrival from Legia Warsaw, Wojciech Szczesny has conceded 194 goals and provided 72 clean sheets in 181 games for Arsenal. He also conceded 25 goals and provided 11 clean sheets in 26 games for AS Roma this season in all competitions.

The 26-year-old is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in Serie A.

Wojciech Szczesny has represented Poland at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 12 caps, before making his senior international debut in November 2009. As a member of Poland national football team, he won 28 caps.

The Poland international is a goalkeeper who has impressed many European Clubs in the last season, and it is understood that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger would prefer to give him another chance and playing him as a replacement of Petr Cech.

Euro Football Rumours understood that Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are very interested in Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and if Arsenal representatives decide to sell, they will prepare offers in the summer transfer window. According to the rumours in Italian Media, Napoli and AS Roma are also interested in Szczesny’s services.
