Hull and Sporting are linked with Fenerbahce defender Gregory van der Wiel

According to the football transfer rumours in Turkish Media, Hull City and Sporting CP are linked with Fenerbahce defender Gregory van der Wiel.

The Holland international has signed for Fenerbahce from French club Paris Saint-Germain F.C. on a free transfer in 2016 and has a valid contract until June 2020.

Gregory van der Wiel has provided only one assists in 12 outings for Fenerbahce this season.

Euro Football Rumours were informed that Fenerbahce is trying to offload the 28 year-old in January transfer window and that the Turkish giant has already offered van der Wiel to Sunderland, but the offer was turned down.

The Hull City want new faces on board to get them firing at the right end of the table and they show strong interest to sign the Holland international defender in January transfer window.

Portuguese giants Sporting CP are apparently trailing Hull City in the pursuit of Fenerbahce defender Gregory van der Wiel.
