The Argentina international has been in impressive form for Genoa this season.
Giovanni Simeone, son of current Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone, has represented Argentina at Under-20 level, winning 12 caps and scoring 10 goals.
Adding a striker remains Fiorentina’s top priority this summer and Stefano Pioli will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming days.
Stefano Pioli has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe.
The Argentina international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking player Stefano Pioli wants to target in the summer transfer window.
Simeone is a player who has impressed many European clubs in the last season, and it is understood that Fiorentina manager would prefer playing him as a forward.
According to the report in Italian Media, Fiorentina have already found an agreement with Genoa regarding the Argentina international worth around 20 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses.
