Fenerbahce in advanced negotiations with Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina

According to the football transfer rumours in Turkish Media, Fenerbahce are in advanced negotiations with Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina.

David Ospina has joined Arsenal from OGC Nice for a fee in the region of 4 million euros in 2014. The 28 year-old has a valid contract with Arsenal until June 2019.

Since his arrival from OGC Nice, David Ospina has conceded 55 goals and provided 18 clean sheets in 48 games for Arsenal, including conceded 21 goals and provided 4 clean sheets in only 13 games this season in all competitions.

The 28-year-old is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in Colombia.

David Ospina has represented Colombia at Under-20 level, winning 12 caps, before making his senior international debut in February 2007. As a member of Colombia national football team, he won 76 caps.

The Colombia international is a goalkeeper who has impressed many European Clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Fenerbahce manager Dick Advocaat would prefer playing him as a replacement of Fabiano Ribeiro de Freitas.

Euro Football Rumours understood that Arsenal is in process of accepting the offer in the region of 7 million euros from the Turkish giant. According to the rumours in Turkey David Ospina has agreed his personal terms with Fenerbahce in the region of 47,000 euros per week.
