Crystal Palace keen to land Dani Ceballos

The upcoming summer will see Crystal Palace improving their midfield department.

The reports in Spain suggested that Crystal Palace are keen to land Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

The Spain international was signed by Real in July 2017 from Betis for a fee of 16.5 million euros. The 25-year-old has a contract until 2023 with the club.

The midfielder has featured in six matches this term, providing one assist in all competitions.

He’s incredibly experienced for a 25-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.

The Real Madrid midfielder has also represented the Spain at various youth levels before going on to secure 11 senior caps for his country thus far.

Ceballos is widely regarded as a key transfer target for Crystal Palace this summer. Patrick Vieira is a firm fan of Real Madrid midfielder and Crystal Palace could make a move for the player if the financial aspect makes sense.

Crystal Palace are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.

There is no doubt that Ceballos will take Palace’s midfield to a different level.

According to the report,” Crystal Palace are keen to bring Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos back to London next season. After two seasons on-loan with Arsenal, Ceballos returned to Real this term but has struggled to find a place in coach Carlo Ancelotti’s plans. Mundo Deportivo says Ceballos will be put up for sale by Real at the end of the season. And already in contact about a deal is Palace, which are keen to bring Ceballos back to London this summer.”

If Crystal Palace can agree on a fee with Real, the deal should be easy to complete.

It is claimed that the Spanish giants are open to letting Ceballos go.

Dani Ceballos has all the skillset required to be a success story in London. Therefore, it makes sense for Vieira to step up his attempts to bring the Spain midfielder to Premier League side.

A move away from Real will not be only the best move for Ceballos, but also for the club.
