Chelsea will look to sign Everton star Ross Barkley

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for Ross Barkley over the course of the last summer transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in British Media, Chelsea will look again to sign Everton midfielder Ross Barkley in January.

The England international has joined Everton in 2005. The 23-year-old has a valid contract with Everton until June 2018.

Ross Barkley made 179 appearances across all competitions for Everton, scoring 27 goals and supplying 28 assists in return.

The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in England.

Ross Barkley has represented England at Under-16, Under-17, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 34 caps and scoring 5 goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2013. As a member of England national football team, Ross Barkley has won 22 caps and has scored two goals.

Ross Barkley is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Everton this winter and the list of suitors in the England international continues to grow. He will be high in demand this winter, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Everton last term.

Antonio Conte wants to sign a new midfielder this winter and Ross Barkley is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a long term admirer of Ross Barkley and believes he can get the most out of the England international.

Chelsea will be desperate to make an impact in winter transfer window.

The England international is a player who has impressed many European clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte would prefer playing him as a attacking midfielder.
