Besiktas preparing move for Cenk Tosun
Besiktas are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Turkey international Cenk Tosun.
The latest reports in England suggest that Besiktas are preparing move for Everton striker Cenk Tosun.
Everton spent 22.5 million euros to sign the Turkey international from Besiktas in the winter of 2018. The 28-year-old has three years left on his current contract which expires in 2022.
In 45 appearances for Everton, Cenk Tosun has managed to score 9 goals, and create 4 goals for his teammates.
The 28-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Turkey.
The Turkey international is believed to be available for transfer, with Abdullah Avcı now keen to bring him to Besiktas.
Avcı wants to sign a new striker and Tosun is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.
Tosun is a long-term target of Besiktas and could be a decent addition for Abdullah Avcı’s side.
According to Sport Witness (via Aksam), “After victory in the Istanbul derby against Galatasaray, Besiktas are now looking ahead to the next transfer window, and the club’s new president Ahmet Nur Cebi is planning to bolster his squad to compete with their title rivals. Signing a striker to partner or compete with Burak Yilmaz is on their agenda and Aksam report Besiktas are finally ready make an offer to Everton for Cenk Tosun. The Turkish striker has made just one Premier League appearance for Marco Silva’s side this season, which came against Sheffield United last month. Subsequently he could leave the club in order to get regular first team football ahead of Euro 2020. Aksam say there are other clubs around Europe tracking the Everton forward but Besiktas are hoping they will be able to convince the 28 year old over a return to Turkey.”

Besiktas are reportedly facing competition from Valencia in their pursuit of Everton striker.
If Besiktas are genuinely interested, a deal would not be impossible to complete.
The 28-year-old would be a very good addition for Besiktas and they can afford him as well.
