Alaves right-back Kiko Femenia agrees a deal in principle with Watford to join them on free transfer this summer.
Watford are looking set to land Kiko Femenia after Spanish Media revealed that they are in advanced negotiations with Femenia’s representatives ahead of a potential move this summer.
Kiko Femenia has joined Alaves from Alcorcón on a free transfer in 2015. The 26 year-old has a valid contract with Alaves until the end of the season.
Since his arrival from Alcorcón, Kiko Femenia has scored five goals and provided two assists in 64 games for Alaves, including one assist in 24 games in all competition this season.
Femenia has also represented Spain at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning nine caps across all age groups.
The Spain international has been in fine form for Alaves this season.
Kiko Femenia has been a long term target of Walter Mazzarri as the manager looks to bolster his defensive options for the next season.
Euro Football Rumours understood that Italian manager Mazzarri believes Femenia has the caliber to be a star at the Hornets and would be fantastic signing for Watford.
