Atletico Madrid are planning a move for Rodrigo Moreno.
The reports in Spain suggested that Atletico Madrid are keen to land Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno.
The Spain international was signed by Valencia in July 2015 from Benfica for a fee of 30 million euros. The 27-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.
Since his arrival from Benfica, Moreno has scored 34 goals and provided 20 assists in 126 games for Valencia, including 16 goals and seven assists in 35 games in all competitions this season.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Spain.
Rodrigo Moreno has represented Spain at Under-19, Under-20, Under-21 and Under-23 level, winning 37 caps and scoring 24 goals, before making his senior international debut in October 2014. As a member of Spain national football team, Moreno won four caps and he scored two goals.
The Spain international has impressed in La Liga this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.

The report claims that Atletico Madrid manager has extensively scouted Rodrigo Moreno and is considering a move for the striker.

According to Football Espana, “The former Benfica striker, who started his career at Real Madrid and had a spell at Bolton Wanderers, is the second highest Spanish scorer in the division, behind Celta Vigo’s Iago Aspas. Valencia are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the striker, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.
