The 22-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Ivory Coast. As a member of Ivory Coast national football team, Kessie won 27 caps.

Nuno Espírito Santo wants to sign a new midfielder and Franck Kessie is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He has kept an eye on Kessie for the last period and he is impressed with the midfielder’s performances.

Wolverhampton are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.

Franck Kessie has the talent to play many roles in midfield.

According to Calciomercato, “Premier League side Wolves are looking to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie in the upcoming January transfer window, according to Italian newspaper la Gazzetta dello Sport. The paper details how Wolves looked to sign Kessie in the summer, but a deal never materialised. However, they haven’t given up and will look to sign the 22-year-old Ivorian midfielder in January.”

AC Milan are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the midfielder, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

The 22-year-old would be a very good addition for Wolverhampton and they can afford him as well.

Wolverhampton fans would certainly love to see him arrive at the club.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Wolverhampton come calling for Kessie this winter.
