Wolves are reportedly keeping a close eye on many midfielders across the Europe.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Wolverhampton are leading the race for Schalke midfielder Omar Mascarell.
The Spain international was signed by Schalke in July 2018 from Real Madrid for a fee of 10 million euros. The 28-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.
The midfielder has banged in one goal and provided one assist in 22 matches this term on all fronts.
