right-back Omar Elabdellaoui has emerged as a surprise target for Watford in the winter transfer window.
According to the football transfer rumours in British Media (Daily Mail), Watford are linked with Olympiacos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui.
The Norway international has joined Olympiacos from Eintracht Braunschweig on a free transfer in July 2014. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Olympiacos until June 2018.
Omar Elabdellaoui made 69 appearances across all competitions for Olympiacos, scoring 4 goals and supplying 5 assists in return.
The 25-year-old is considered to be the best right-back in Norway.
Omar Elabdellaoui has represented Norway at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-21 and Under-23 level, winning 52 caps and scoring 5 goals, before making his senior international debut in August 2013. As a member of Norway national football team, Omar Elabdellaoui has won 26 caps.
