Valencia linked with fresh move for Mouctar Diakhaby

Valencia appear to have a genuine interest in signing Lyon defender Mouctar Diakhaby this summer.

According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish media, Valencia are linked with fresh move for Mouctar Diakhaby.

He has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

The 21-year-old has four years left on his current contract which expires in 2022.

Diakhaby made 55 appearances across all competitions for Lyon, scoring seven goals and supplying two assists in return.

The 21-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in France.

Mouctar Diakhaby has represented France at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 25 caps and scoring two goals.

His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Valencia.

The 21-year-old has already been linked with a move to Los Che by Le10Sport and now the well-renowned French sports daily L’Equipe has confirmed the Spanish club’s interest.”

Lyon are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the defender, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

The 21-year-old would be a very good addition for Valencia and they can afford him as well.
